Client Care Services Manager- Tucson

 Job Summary:

The Client Care Services Manager-Tucson will report to the Chief Operations Officer and work in collaboration with the Client Care Services team in Phoenix. This position is responsible for coordinating client services and programs for the Foundation in southern Arizona in partnership with Banner University Medical Center Tucson Burn Unit. This person is also responsible for connecting with clients throughout the state of Arizona either telephonically or digitally. In partnership with the Client Care Service team, this position also assists with budgeting and program planning for further development needs.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the operation, quality, integrity and financial success of crisis care and after care programs in the southern Arizona market, including visiting patients in the hospital and clinic multiple times per week.
  • Required to work some weekends/evenings/holidays on call per Client Care Service team schedule.
  • Provides implementation of a Continuum of Care client service model while fostering the Arizona Burn Foundation mission and philosophical values of quality care.
  • Promotes teamwork and trust through effective leadership and role modeling.
  • Works in conjunction with the ABF Staff and other appropriate personnel to assure that all programmatic standards are met or exceeded.
  • Facilitates peer support group meetings for burn survivors and families, and development of agenda for resiliency and recovery.
  • Assists in coordinating the Adopt a Family Holiday Program.
  • Assists in coordinating Arizona Burn Foundation Camps and Retreats Programs.
  • Assists in coordinating school reentry program for elementary and secondary school burn survivors’ successful return to the classroom.
  • Assists in coordinating Forever Courage Hospitality program for burn survivor families.
  • Assists in coordinating transitional care services program (weekly visits to rehabilitations, acute care facilities, and nursing facilities for severe burn survivors to increase overall resiliency and resources connection).
  • Assists in coordinating the SOAR peer support program for burn survivors in hospital in collaboration with Banner University Medical Center Tucson Burn Unit staff.
  • Assists in coordinating ABF attendance at the World Burn Conference.
  • Assists in development of recovery care programming throughout Arizona via virtual connection with burn survivors currently not being served.
  • Assists in the development and management of financial and operating budgets.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 Travel: 

Travel required to meet with clients, families, and volunteers.  Travel to Phoenix occasionally for meetings with entire staff. Travel for National conferences and local trainings.  Higher frequency during peak season.  Must have reliable transportation.

 Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.  Must be able to sit at a computer for long periods of time.  Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties.



Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Masters of Social Work with 3 plus years experience.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish and English)
  • Experience working in trauma care setting
  • Knowledge of Tucson area resources available for families in need
  • Nonprofit program design planning, implementation and evaluation experience.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Experience with case management, referral services and financial assistance procedures.
  • Demonstrated customer service, problem solving and time management.
  • Commitment to professional development and mentoring of staff and volunteers.
  • Experience with managing a client database.
  • Experience coordinating support groups, camps and retreats for clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to tactfully handle stressful situations, negotiate and resolve conflicts, maintain confidentiality and to respect and observe organizational protocols while maintaining professionalism.
  • Ability to take initiative to carry out projects and programs with guidance from Client Care Service team
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
